Dr Paul Zakowich attended to me when I was admitted to the American Hospital (now known as Parkway East Hospital) over 30 years ago due to severe infection of my leg caused by my undiagnosed severe diabetes.
Dr Zakowich was very diligent in cleaning up my severely infected leg. He constantly checked on me and reassured me throughout my ordeal. His thoughtful, gentle and caring disposition kept me calm in the chaos of the pain and fear of the consequence of this infection. My wound healed very well under his care.
Since then and even now, he takes time to listen to my concerns, reassure me and provide the correct medications to help me control my medical conditions.
He is a very patient-focussed doctor and is conservative and flexible in his approach for the benefit of his patient.
This is why I am still seeing him, even though I am already 87 years old and retired. I also had Dr Zakowich take care of my father’s medical conditions till his passing from cancer. Due to Dr Zakowich’s care and medical expertise, my father did not suffer before he passed away.
I confidently and absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs his service. He also has a very good team of staff who provide the same care to me.
